at Villa Nilaya
When you join a Creative Living Retreat you'll be coming to stay in the secluded seaside village of Mendira, on the South coast of Bali, about 90 minutes drive from the airport. It's a quiet community, extremely clean and tidy with very little traffic. We have been 'Runner-up' in Bali's 'Clean Green' contest for the last three years running!
You'll be able to sample small local restaurants ('warungs'), a coffee and ice-cream cafe, a boutique and small gift shop an several temple complexes. It is a 5 km drive to the nearest main town of Candi Dasa.
The retreat hub is Villa Nilaya, a private villa, and this is where the retreat sessions, the yoga and lunches, as well as our at-home dinners will take place. Your accommodation is included in the cost of your retreat, as are most of your meals

Amarta Beach Bungalows 3 /3.5* is always popular and books out quickly. Offering two types of A/C rooms all sea-facing and set amidst palmy gardens, with a swimming pool and a good little seaside restaurant. 8 minute walk to the villa along a quiet village lane.

Superior Rooms with Double bed, TV, fridge, AC, fully enclosed bathroom (only 6 available). Built as pairs with separate entrances. 2 units upstairs/ 2 units downstairs

More spacious Villa Suites with QS bed only, AC, TV, indoor/outdoor bathroom, daybed niche, (only 6 available) , stand alone villas (one upstairs/ one downstairs- please specify which you prefer)

Sea Breeze Villas 4* is a spacious seaside property offering 7 different categories of rooms, ranging from cute wooden seaside chalets and cottages, to a luxuriously marbled 'honeymoon suite'. 2 swimming pools, restaurant, gym. A quiet 8 -minute walk to the villa in the opposite direction from the other two options.
Candi Beach Resort 5* offers quality resort facilities across a range of room options and 3 restaurants.
It is a ten minute walk from the Villa, and is situated close to Amarta Bungalows.
Has a beautiful private beach directly in front of the garden, and all the services and staff you'd expect
Should you have need of transport to bring you to and from the villa, that's easily organised.
All three hotels are located on the sea front and offer good breakfasts. We have been working with each of them since the retreats began, so they're very familiar with assisting our retreatants - you'll be well looked after.
